Hokie Athletes Inspire and Support Local Kids in Partnership with The Hokie Way and Boys and Girls Club

In May, Hokies Men's Basketball Guard, Sean Pedulla, and Football's Wide Receiver, Jaylin Lane, participated in the 24th annual Delta Dental Pro-Am for Kids at Roanoke Country Club. The event was organized in collaboration with The Hokie Way's charitable partner, The Boys and Girls Club of Southwest Virginia.

Hokies Men’s Basketball Guard, Sean Pedulla, and Football’s Wide Receiver Jaylin Lane engaged in a Q&A session, where they shared their college experiences and post-college career goals. 

Following the Q&A, a catered lunch provided an opportunity for Pedulla, Lane, the kids, PGA Pro Golfers, local amateur golfers, and members of The Hokie Way to connect.

Afterward, Pedulla and Lane accompanied the children on the golf course, where they observed various rounds played by golfers who collectively raised over $125,000 for the Boys and Girls Club. The event proved to be a wonderful occasion for the athletes to inspire and support young individuals while contributing to a great cause.
